Day 2: Samburu
Spend a full day at Samburu Game Reserve, enjoying game drives. You may choose to embark on a morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. During the midday heat, most animals rest, making the afternoon an ideal time to observe wildlife again. The stunning landscape offers a chance to see elephants in the majestic Ewaso Nyiro River, a remarkable sight. Wild dog sightings are also common in this unique protected area. Due to its remote location and years of inaccessibility, the park maintains a naturally serene and quiet atmosphere. In addition to the diverse wildlife, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 450 recorded species. Samburu National Reserve is historically significant as one of the areas where conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness, a story popularized by the bestselling book and award-winning movie “Born Free.” Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Following this, enjoy a picnic lunch while driving to Lake Bogoria Game Reserve, renowned for its therapeutic hot geysers.
