Since its opening in 2017, Sable Alley has been a beacon of light, offering bright and luxurious accommodations amidst the wildlife-abundant floodplains of Khwai.
Strategically positioned along the edge of a lagoon adorned with lilies, this location is a haven for large groups of hippos and serves as a popular drinking site for elephants and buffaloes. Keep your binoculars within reach to spot lions, leopards, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants, and a plethora of graceful antelope as you navigate through the reserve’s varied landscapes. The synergy of Sable Alley and Mapula Lodge provides two exemplary settings for experiencing both aquatic and terrestrial game viewing.
