Details

DAYS 1, 2 & 3

Upon your arrival in Maun, the entry point to the renowned Okavango Delta, you will be greeted and taken to your flight heading to Tuludi Camp. This camp is ideally situated, flanked to the south by the globally celebrated Moremi Game Reserve and to the east by the expansive Chobe National Park. Nestled within the Khwai Private Reserve, Tuludi Camp spans over 200,000 hectares of untouched wilderness. The surrounding floodplains are a haven for vast herds of elephants and buffalos that roam the grasslands peacefully. However, it is the presence of predators that truly captivates visitors, with the expectation of encountering hunting lion prides, leopards resting in the forests, and cheetahs patrolling their domains. Additionally, the region serves as a habitat for a significant population of the endangered wild dog.

DAYS 4, 5 & 6

Following a brief flight, guests are transported to the camp from the airstrip. Nestled among verdant trees with panoramic views overlooking a channel that fills with water seasonally, Chitabe Camp is a wildlife-centric lodge. The lodge’s elevated wooden tree bar and lounge area offer a splendid vantage point. Situated on a private concession, the camp is celebrated for its sightings of large game and predators.

Day and night, expert-led game drives unveil exceptional encounters across a varied spectrum of species. For those seeking a more intimate connection with the natural world, guided walks offer the opportunity to engage all the senses beyond sight. Among the myriad highlights are encounters with the stealthy leopard and the elusive wild dogs, which stand out during daylight hours. As night falls, the nocturnal world comes alive with sightings of civet, genet, and porcupine.

DAYS 7, 8 & 9

Embark on a flight northward across the Okavango Delta, taking in its breathtaking beauty, before reaching the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. Positioned to overlook the glistening Osprey Lagoon at the edge of the Linyanti River and the origin of the vital Savute Channel, Duma Tau Camp offers an exceptional vantage point.

This area stands out as one of Africa’s premier havens for vast herds of elephants, alongside offering sightings of lions, leopards, and a variety of antelope. Guests can immerse themselves in the natural environment through guided bush walks, daytime and nocturnal game drives, boat cruises, or by observing from a concealed hide at a waterhole, providing a unique perspective of wildlife from ground level.
