Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara national park

Upon pick-up by our driver guide, you will participate in a brief orientation before departing for the Maasai Mara. The journey takes you through Narok Town, arriving at the plains just in time for lunch. After a relaxing lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in search of the Big 5. Named after the Maasai people and the Mara River, this area is ideal for wildlife photography. The Mara River, known for its hippos and crocodiles, attracts a variety of animals, creating a photographer’s paradise. The park permits off-road driving, allowing guests to explore the plains teeming with wildlife. After the game drive, return to the camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day

After breakfast, set off with a packed lunch for a full day of game viewing in Maasai Mara. This safari offers a diverse range of animals in a hilly, fertile, and humid region, intersected by the Mara and Talek Rivers, both teeming with crocodiles and hippos. The abundance of water and food resources in Maasai Mara supports the highest population of wild animals in Africa.
Between July and October, witness the dramatic annual wildebeest migration, featuring massive herds of gnus and zebras. This migration attracts predators such as hyenas, jackals, leopards, cheetahs, and lions, all following the herds closely.
Optional activities include Balloon Safaris for approximately USD 400 per person, visits to Maasai Cultural Villages for around USD 20 per person, and Nature Walks for about USD 20 per person. In the evening, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Today, you will embark on an early morning game drive in the Mara, once again in search of the Big 5. The main predators here include lions, leopards, and cheetahs, while smaller predators such as hyenas and jackals are also present. You will encounter large herbivores like elephants, rhinos, zebras, hippos, buffalos, and giraffes. After the game drive, return to the camp for breakfast, check out, and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you have the option of a boat ride or a nature walk on Crescent Island, a private game sanctuary home to zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, Vervet monkeys, impalas, hares, waterbucks, and giraffes. Alternatively, you can visit Hell’s Gate National Park for walking, biking, or hiking safaris. Your accommodation will be at a camp or lodge, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli Park

Rise early to savor a delicious breakfast before setting off for Amboseli National Park, renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is home to over 420 bird species, large elephant herds, and other big game, drawn to the area by underground springs nourished by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. Arrive at the camp/lodge in time for lunch, followed by a scheduled afternoon game drive. In the evening, return to the camp/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi

Start your day early with a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro before the summit becomes obscured by clouds, then embark on a morning game drive. Amboseli offers fantastic opportunities to observe a diverse range of wildlife, from wildebeests and giraffes to baboons and more. Return to the camp/lodge for breakfast, check out, and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at JKIA for your flight home.
